Shihan Russ Rhodes
Shihan Russ Rhodes has over 30 years in the martial arts and he holds ranks in seven different systems. His highest accolades are a Shichidan in "Ken Ju Ryu Ju Jitsu", Shichidan in Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Ju Jtisu and his most recent adornment is instructor certification in Inayan System of Eskrima. He possesses uncanny ability to combine diverse martial arts disciplines in a synergistic manner. He creates self defense techniques, borrowing components from virtually every conceivable source and enhances them by using biomechanics and the application of equations through technique.
For the last fifteen years Shihan Russ Rhodes has been Chief Instructor of the Ken Ju Ryu system that he cofounded with Professor Sig Kufferath. The Ken Ju Ryu system is an integration of Hawaiian Kenpo and Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu.
Shihan Russ Rhodes is one of the founding members and President of the Pacific Coast Kilohana organization created to support all martial artists and their styles.
Shihan Russ Rhodes is also a member and Assistant Director of Ju Jitsu in the United Martial Art World Federation. Shihan Russ Rhodes dedication to the evolution of martial arts is absolute.
