Sensei Jonathan Largent
Sensei Jonathan Largent began his martial arts training at the age of 7 years old in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu with Shihan Richard Pietrelli. He trained at the Fusuikan Martial Arts Center, where he became the senior youth instructor, until he moved to Oakland in 2001.
In Oakland, Sensei Largent trained under Professor Mike Esmailzadeh at Suigetsukan Dojo. He had the privilege of testing in front of both of his primary instructors, Professor Esmailzadeh and Shihan Pietrelli, in 2005 and received his Yondan (4th degree black belt) in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu.
Sensei Largent has also studied Koie Kan Karate Do, Aikido, Kashima Shin Ryu Kenjutsu, and the Inayan System of Eskrima in Kadena de Mano, Sinawali, and Dequerdes.
Sensei Largent currently teaches both youth and adult Danzan Ryu Jujitsu classes at Kiriishi Kai in Arcata, California.
