Sensei Annette Kahoun
Sensei Annette Kahoun is a Yodan in Dan Zan Ryu Jujitsu. She began studying Judo and Jujitsu in 1980. Annette has also trained in Ken Ju Ryu Kenpo Jujitsu, Escrima, Seifukujitsu, Kashima Shin Ryu, and Aikido. She is currently training in Aikido mainly for endurance and fun. Sensei Kahoun has been a lifetime Kilohana member since it began in 1996. She is also a member of the United States Judo Association and the American Jujitsu Institute. Besides helping out at tournaments, the annual Kilohana Masters Seminar and Camp Kilohana, this year she will be instructing at the First Annual Daughters of the Arts Seminar. She is very enthusiastic about this new organization and plans on becoming a member. Annette is usually seen on the mat playing with the kids or helping out where she is needed.
